Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Assistant Professor (HS). The successful candidate will be responsible for: Education Participate in the educational mission of the College of Medicine and the School of Graduate Studies, including teaching and curricular responsibilities as assigned by the School of Graduate Studies. Contribute to the education of medical students through lectures, small-group

facilitation, problem-based learning (PBL), and team-based learning (TBL) sessions within the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences curriculum. Mentor medical students, residents, and fellows on research projects, providing guidance in study design, methodology, statistical analysis, manuscript preparation, and scholarly dissemination. These educational responsibilities are encompassed within Dr. Barr’s

base appointment and effort allocation, and demonstrated engagement in teaching, mentorship, and educational scholarship will be expected as part of the criteria for his eventual promotion. Clinical Research Operations Conduct clinical research studies, including study design, protocol development, data collection, data analysis, and reporting. Manage study participants and ensure adherence to study protocols,

regulatory requirements, and ethical standards. Maintain accurate and complete study documentation, regulatory files, and research records. Data Management & Analysis Collect, analyze, and interpret complex clinical, neurophysiological, genetic, and geospatial data. Perform statistical analyses and prepare data summaries, tables, and visualizations. Support the preparation of manuscripts for peer-reviewed journals
