Pediatrics, Neonatology is seeking a full-time community-based clinical neonatologists to join the Columbia faculty. Candidate will join a large cohesive team of community-based neonatologists who will work primarily at NYP Westchester hospital (formerly Lawrence Hospital) with additional coverage of NYP Allen Hospital. Rapid growth is anticipated at NYP Westchester and this is an opportunity to join and build a new
program.Your primary responsibilities will be as a neonatologist in the Division of Neonatology. At NYP Westchester and Allen , you will provide coverage in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) and Delivery Room, with additional Well Baby coverage as needed. You will also have the opportunity to do rotations as an Attending Neonatologist at Morgan Stanley Children’s Hospital NICU where you will participate
in providing the highest level of care to patients with critical illness. You will be expected to attend weekly divisional faculty meetings, participate in resident and fellow education, and attend educational conferences as possible. As a member of the faculty, you will have the opportunity to participate in QI initiatives at Westchester, Allen and MSCH, working closely with the NYP QI team to enhance uniform
guidelines and improve clinical management across the NYP NICUs. Opportunities to engage in additional areas of professional interest (bioethics, clinical research) will be supported and encouraged, but not required. Candidates must be BE/BC and eligible for NY licensure.
