Working/Functional Title Gastroenterologist Position Summary Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine is seeking a Board-certified or Board-eligible gastroenterologist. Candidates should be proficient in general gastroenterology. Candidates with advanced GI procedure training are desired. Candidates should also have an interest in participating in academic and scholarly work. Responsibilities will

include evaluation and management of patients with a variety of GI disorders, endoscopic procedures (including advanced endoscopic procedures), and teaching of residents and students in gastroenterology. Applicant will be working with Mid-level providers. Scholarly work opportunities will be encouraged and supported. Academic appointment with Michigan State University College of Osteopathic Medicine department of

Osteopathic Medical Specialties. The position will be full time with research and teaching time included. A competitive salary and benefits package will be offered.
