Assistant Professor of Operations Management Position Overview The School of Business at the University of Kansas is conducting a search for a tenure-track faculty position in Operations and Supply-Chain Management for the 2027-28 academic year. The appointment will be made at rank of Assistant Professor. This is a full-time, tenure-track position beginning August 18, 2027.Successful candidates will be expected to
continue to contribute to the advancement of knowledge through high quality publications in leading academic journals, to teach courses with rigorous academic content at the undergraduate, masters, and doctoral level, and to engage in service and outreach activities that advance the educational mission of the School of Business and the University of Kansas. While all areas of operations/supply chain will be
considered, emphasis might be given to the emerging topics of blockchain, digital transformation of supply chain, and supply-chain analytics.
