Job Summary:  We are seeking a skilled and compassionate General Pulmonologist to join our dedicated team of healthcare professionals. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in diagnosing, treating, and managing a wide range of pulmonary conditions, with a focus on providing comprehensive care for patients with chronic lung diseases, respiratory infections, asthma, COPD, and other pulmonary

Key Responsibilities: Diagnosis & Treatment: Evaluate, diagnose, and treat patients with a variety of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), pneumonia, lung infections, interstitial lung

disease, and sleep apnea. Patient Care: Develop and implement individualized care plans for patients, including pharmacologic therapies, pulmonary rehabilitation, and lifestyle recommendations to optimize lung function and quality of life. Clinical Responsibilities: Include up to 9 sessions per week of outpatient clinical care.  At least 6 of these sessions will be at the 51 W. 51st outpatient practice with the

balance of outpatient care at the upper Manhattan campus ( Herbert Irving Pavilion). Total inpatient service will not be expected to exceed 12 calendar weeks per year, divided between Milstein Hospital and other NYP-affiliated hospitals. The distribution of your inpatient and outpatient clinical responsibilities may be adjusted by mutual agreement to accommodate your other duties and responsibilities. The

distribution of your clinical responsibilities may be amended from time to time based on clinical coverage needs from NYPH, the Department of Medicine, and the Division.
