Position summary

Monmouth University is seeking applications for an Assistant Professor in Management & Leadership with a focus on Entrepreneurship, in the Leon Hess Business School for AY2027-2028. Applications received by June 25, 2026 will receive full consideration. The department prepares students for management and leadership positions in both the private and public sectors. Courses are taught by faculty members with strong

academic and business experience. The faculty members stress the development of critical thinking, sophisticated communications skills, and a flexible managerial perspective. The ideal candidate will have a Doctoral degree in entrepreneurship; have practical work experience in the field of entrepreneurship; demonstrated effectiveness in teaching; knowledge and experience in strategic leadership, hospitality

management, and/or franchising; evidence of scholarly activities; and familiarity in developing business partnerships.This is an in-person, on-campus, non-remote position.
