ROLE of the POSITION The Department of Psychology at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas invites applications for a full-time, 9-month, non-tenure track teaching faculty member (Assistant Professor in Residence) to begin Fall, 2027. A primary responsibility for this position is the development and instruction
of undergraduate courses in children’s mental health (a B.S. program in Children’s Behavioral Health Psychology has recently been developed and approved). This new program will offer courses that cover topics such as youth assessment, health promotion practices, addictions, targeted intervention practices, professional development and ethics, and inclusive practices. This position also involves teaching foundational
and upper-division courses, including capstone. Career advancement is available with evidence of continued professional development and service contributions.
