Successful research scientist candidates should have research interests aimed at elucidating mechanisms of cardiac arrhythmias in cardiovascular disease using multiple approaches that may include
cellular and tissue-level electrophysiology, multi-modal imaging, excitation-contraction coupling, pharmacology, and molecular biology. The incumbent will be expected to develop extramurally funded research programs on the cutting edge, to provide leadership in cardiac electrophysiology research, and to engage in grant-supported collaborative studies with other departmental faculty, in which cardiac physiology and
