We invite applications from individuals working at the frontiers of media and politics, broadly defined, including
candidates from all social science disciplines and related disciplines such as data and information sciences. While we place highest priority to the overall originality and promise of the candidate's work, particular areas of interest include political communication, political economy, polarization, as well as the utilization of computational, experimental, or other quantitative methods. Applicants must have
demonstrated a commitment to effective teaching and mentoring and the ability to maintain a world-class research program. The successful candidate must have a Ph.D. in a related field and will be expected to teach and advise students at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. The expected base pay range for this position is $133,235 - $143,916 Stanford University has provided a pay range representing its good faith estimate of what the University reasonably expects to pay the position upon hire.
