practical settings. The instructors’ major functions are to assist with teaching an appropriate, assigned Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning education program. This will be done through the facilitation of a positive learning environment (lecture, group, or individual) targeting a diverse population, resulting in the successful completion of the program while earning industry recognized credentials of value.

The instructor will maintain a safe learning environment for all students. Administration of the learning process (teaching) is to be accomplished in accordance with Federal regulation, Florida State Law, and Florida Gateway College Board Policies. The primary responsibility of an Instructor at FGC is to the students in the classroom. In addition, the instructor will be expected to participate in school and

department meetings, recruiting events, college events, assist with the advisory board as needed, and maintain strong relationships with industry.
