The selected individual will teach Educational Leadership courses for licensure programs in the Educational Leadership preparation programs, certificates, and endorsements (e.g., principal, superintendent). UIS tenure-system faculty are expected to be available and engaged in the university community, with assigned professional responsibilities for teaching, scholarship, and service.Duties & Responsibilities:Teaching: Teaching load is three courses per semester, including, but not limited to EDL 505/541, EDL 542, EDL 543, EDL 586 and/or other courses as needed based on expertise of candidate. Three-course
load per semester is planned.Scholarship: A proven record of the ability to produce quality scholarship (Discovery, Integration, Application, or Scholarship of Teaching) within the field of Educational Leadership is required.Service: Service to School, College, University, and the community is required.Note: Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
