begin August 2027. We welcome applications from scholars trained in Theology and/or Religious Studies whose research focuses on any aspect of Eastern Christian traditions, including: Greek or Syriac Patristics, Byzantine Theology & Culture, Russian Religious Thought, Contemporary Orthodox or Eastern Catholic theology & culture. Successful candidates will have research competence in relevant languages. They will

demonstrate potential for teaching and mentoring excellence at the undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral levels. Villanova is a Catholic university sponsored by the Augustinian order.
