This tenure-track assignment will begin in Fall 2026. The instructor will join a robust transfer program that includes the launch

of a new 2+2 model: students spend two years completing lower division coursework at Allan Hancock College, then finish two years of upper division classes taught by Cal Poly faculty on our campus, culminating in a bachelor’s degree. The Business Department administers a comprehensive portfolio of certificates and degrees in service of our high school partners and correctional education programs. In addition to the

business administration program, the position will include the computer business information systems and computer business office technology programs. Essential Functions and QualificationsDuties and ResponsibilitiesThe instructor will teach a range of Business courses that may include Computer Business Office Technology, and Computer Business Information Systems courses to students with a variety of educational

skills, experiences and goals.The position may include teaching in the evenings and on weekends.In addition, the instructor will:Participate in program review and curriculum development.Review and revise content of course(s) as necessary.Maintain five (5) required office hours per week for student consultation.Participate in department and college activities.Maintain class and examination schedules as well as grade
