tenure-track assistant professor faculty position in biochemistry beginning in August 2026. The successful candidate will a join a collegial, engaged team of faculty and professional staff in the School of Molecular and Physical Sciences (SMaPS). The SMaPS offers undergraduate academic programs in biochemistry, chemistry, laboratory science, and biophysics, as well as a biochemistry 4+1 (MS, biotechnology). The

successful hire will advance the missions of the UNE Center for Cellular Signaling Research (CCSR), CAS, and SMaPS by developing a strong and collaborative research program in cellular signaling mechanisms or complementary areas relevant to health, disease, and therapeutic innovation. The researcher will contribute to a vibrant interdisciplinary research environment that integrates biomedical discovery with the

educational focus of UNE.The successful applicant will be offered a competitive start-up package to establish their research program at the university, including but not limited to high quality laboratory space and reassign time to foster success of research endeavors.
