These positions will be attending physicians in the University of Washington Medical Center outpatient clinics. Candidates may be considered at individual or
multiple clinics affiliated with UWMC—the General Internal Medicine Center (GIMC) and/or OB/GYN and Primary Care (OBGC) at UWMC-Roosevelt. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. All positions will include providing direct patient care, medical record documentation and billing for patient care, and clinical oversight of trainees (medical students, residents, and fellows). In
addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service
over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure. Only full-time positions (100% FTE) are eligible for H-1B and permanent residence sponsorship. Employer based permanent residence sponsorship is offered in the Clinical Practice track. Salary The base salary range for this position will be: $16,250 -
