Description The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Immunology, at the University of Washington School of Medicine and the Center for Immunity and Immunotherapies (CIIT) in the Seattle Children's Research Institute (SCRI) is recruiting a faculty member as an Assistant Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), Associate Professor without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), or Professor without tenure by

reason of funding (WOT), on the Clinician-Scholar track, commensurate with experience and qualifications, to contribute to clinical care in our growing clinical pediatric allergy service. Anticipated start date is Fall 2025. The successful candidate will join a diverse faculty of clinicians, physician-scientists, and scientists to participate in the diagnosis, treatment and advancement of knowledge and novel

therapeutics for people with inborn errors of immunity and allergic disorders. The successful candidate will contribute to a growing outpatient allergy clinical service, would have the opportunity to develop a food allergy program and participate in an eosinophilic gastrointestinal disorder clinic, and participate in a robust inpatient and outpatient consult allergy service at Seattle Children’s Hospital. Division co-directs the University of Washington, Allergy and Immunology Fellowship program, and is strongly committed to the training of Allergy and Immunology Fellows. The successful candidate will have the opportunity of teaching and mentoring of medical students, residents, fellows and junior faculty. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July

1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
