Description The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Washington School of Medicine, Division of Emergency Medicine, in partnership with Seattle Children’s Hospital is seeking a full-time provider to join our faculty. The candidate will be a full-time faculty member at the Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor level without tenure by reason of funding (WOT), on the Clinician-Scholar track,

commensurate with experience and qualifications. Anticipated start date is Fall/Winter 2026. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Associate and full Professors

hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). As an active member of the Pediatric Emergency Medicine Division, the faculty member's job duties and responsibilities will include: direct clinical

activities as an attending physician, responsible for providing and supervising the care of patients at sites of care for Pediatric Emergency Services; participate in local, regional and national activities that will promote clinical interests as well as develop career goals; assist in faculty development efforts during career progression; and assist the department in its development through committee memberships as

requested. The faculty member will be an active participant in medical student, resident, and fellow education programs and will work diligently to continually grow as a teacher and educator. Faculty member clinical responsibilities in the Emergency Department will also include attending meetings to further divisional educational, EDI, and research efforts, as well as interdisciplinary and department opportunities.
