Clinical Assistant Professor, Clinical Associate Professor, or Clinical Professor in the Clinician Educator Line or Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor in the University Medical Line. The department is actively recruiting Clinician Educators for these divisions: Cardiothoracic Anesthesia, Multispecialty Anesthesia, Regional Anesthesia, Pediatric Pain Medicine, and Pediatric Cardiac Anesthesia. The major criterion

for appointment as Clinician Educators is excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, teaching, administrative and/or scholarship appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. The major criteria for appointment for faculty in the University Medical Line shall be excellence in the overall mix of clinical care, clinical teaching, scholarly activity that advances clinical medicine, and

institutional service appropriate to the programmatic need the individual is expected to fulfill. Academic line and rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful candidate. The successful candidates must have an MD, DO, or foreign equivalent, be board-certified or eligible for certification, and eligible for a California medical license or exemption. The expected base pay range for this position is: Assistant Professor: $447,000–457,000 Associate Professor: $471,000–$481,000 Professor: $494,000–$515,000 This pay range reflects base pay only, which is based on faculty rank and years in rank.
