Description The Department of Pediatrics, Division of Emergency Medicine at the University of Washington invites applications for a clinical practice faculty position at the rank of Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice, Associate Professor of Clinical Practice, or Full Professor of Clinical Practice, commensurate with experience and qualifications, with an anticipated start date of January 1, 2027. Specific rank
will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a twelve-month full-time basis for a term of 3 years. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that
align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off.
