The Department of Pathology and Cell Biology seeks a clinical pathologist faculty position, serving as both: Assistant Director of Hematology & Coagulation within the central academic laboratory, and Assistant Director of Laboratory Medicine for two community practice locations, Westchester and The One. Director of Hematology & Coagulation (50%) Clinical & Diagnostic Duties Provide expertise in the interpretation of hematology and coagulation studies, including complex coagulation evaluations (factor assays, thrombophilia testing, mixing studies, platelet function studies). Interpret results for hemoglobin variant testing, including hemoglobin electrophoresis, HPLC, and related assays. Participate in
clinical case sign-out and consultation services in hematology and coagulation. Support quality assurance, proficiency testing, and compliance with regulatory and accreditation standards.
