The

individual will hold 95% appointment with LSU State University A&M (College of Agriculture.) and 5% appointment with LSU Ag Center.65% Teaching: Teach undergraduate and graduate courses that may include but are not limited to draping, collection development, Optitex Pattern Software, Adobe Creative Suites, Clo-3D, Digital Textile Design and Computerized Knitting systems. 30% Research: Develop research in areas of

Textiles, Apparel Design & Merchandising with an emphasis in apparel design technology in the apparel industry. Develop an independent and collaborative research program related to their field, acquire external funding for scholarship with the expectation that they will disseminate their research findings as well as participate in juried exhibitions.5% Service: Contribute to advising and recruitment of both

undergraduate and graduate students. Professional involvement in community; membership in appropriate professional and/or academic organizations; ability to develop industry partnerships.FERPA -As with all LSU employees, due to this position title and/or responsibilities, this position has an obligation to assist students in the acquisition of necessary services. Should a student appear in need of or seek assistance

with issues of an emotional, behavioral, or mental health related matter they should be referred to the proper service within the Student Health Center.
