at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Clinical Practice. Professorial rank is dependent upon record of academic and teaching success in addition to clinical expertise. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a twelve-month full-time basis for a term of three years
beginning October 1, 2026, or soon thereafter. The clinical full-time equivalent (cFTE) will be 0.80 with an administrative component of 0.20 Assistant/Associate Professor of Clinical Practice faculty are eligible for multiyear appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1–June 30). Faculty on a 12-month service period are paid for 11 months of service over 12 months, allowing the equivalent of one
month of paid time off. The base salary range for Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice will be: $17,500 - $19,666 per month ($210,000-$236,000 annually) commensurate with experience and qualification or mandated by the U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. The base salary range for Associate Professor of Clinical Practice will be: $ 19,166 -$23,833 per month ($230,000 -$286,000) annually
commensurate with experience and qualification or mandated by the U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in the benefit determinations and calculations. Compensation provided by
the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
