Candidates with nuclear oriented digital twin, machine learning, or artificial intelligence are especially sought.The Idaho State University Nuclear Engineering Department offers Nuclear Engineering degrees at the bachelors, masters and Ph.D. levels. Most departmental lecture
courses are simultaneously available on the Pocatello and Idaho Falls campuses, and also are available online via the University’s online learning management system (LMS). Many courses are provided in the early evening to accommodate Idaho National Laboratory employees.This position is not eligible for new visa sponsorship at this time. ResponsibilitiesThe Nuclear Engineering Department faculty conduct research in a variety of areas including: reactor physics, thermal hydraulics, nuclear fuels and materials, scientific computing, and nuclear safety.
