Should have an active track record of research activity as evidenced by

peer-reviewed publications. Demonstrated ability to establish a well-funded research program is essential. Carry out high quality research; maintain a good publication record in peer-reviewed journals; fund research from extramural granting agencies; offer clear instruction to students in the Colleges of Medicine and Graduate Studies; offer research training to medical, graduate and postdoctoral students; consult and

collaborate withcolleagues in their area of expertise. Minimum Qualifications: Candidates must hold a PhD, MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent degree and have relevant postdoctoral or independent research experience. Preferred Qualifications: Candidates for Assistant Professor position should have a PhD or equivalent degree and postdoctoral experience in developmental or cell biology or related field.
