Position description The Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at UC Davis is recruiting for a highly qualified accredited non-operative faculty member to complement its comprehensive combined pediatric program.

The position will serve in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series with an academic rank commensurate with their experience and qualifications. The UC Davis Department of Orthopaedic Surgery is the premier pediatric service provider in the greater Sacramento region and is based on the UC Davis Health campus in Sacramento, CA. Sacramento is an easily accessible, family-oriented city in close proximity to the San

Francisco Bay area, and Lake Tahoe and the Sierra Nevada Mountains, the California Coast, and Napa Valley. EXPECTATIONS This position will provide outpatient pediatric orthopaedic non-operative care at UC Davis. This position will also include the teaching and supervision of fellows, residents, and medical students, as well as participate in departmental meetings, conferences, hospital, and departmental committees.

This recruitment is conducted at the Assistant or Associate rank. The resulting hire will be at the Assistant or Associate rank regardless of the proposed appointee's qualifications.
