The successful applicant is expected to maintain a robust line of research, teach and advise master’s and doctoral students, and contribute to a nationally recognized and growing graduate program. We seek candidates focused on issues of national and international importance in
the context of science education as practiced in either formal or informal spaces, including those focused on: Innovative models and approaches to teaching and learning, including applications of engineering, socioscientific issues, and computational thinking Advancing applications of technology, including artificial intelligence and game-based approaches for promoting teaching, learning, and research The successful
applicant for the tenure-track position is expected to maintain a systematic research program, seek external research funding, contribute to the instruction of graduate students, and recruit and mentor doctoral students.
