applications for Neurologist, Assistant/Associate/Professor, Neurology Department, Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine [R0140124].Role of the PositionThe Department of Neurology, at the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine, is seeking candidates at the Assistant/Associate/Professor level to serve as Neurologist. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new academic Neurology department and practice. Our aim is to

establish new standards of medical care for our community and to provide unparalleled clinical and research services.Clinical activities will involve attending duties in neurology clinics and inpatient services at the University Medical Center, a community level 1 trauma hospital in Las Vegas. Teaching responsibilities include teaching medical student courses and clerkship, mentoring graduate students and trainees,

training residents, fellows and medical students and teaching continuing education programs for physicians and the public. The SOM Faculty Appointment, Promotion and Tenure (FAPT) Committee will use the Kirk Kerkorian School of Medicine at UNLV (SOM) promotion criteria to recommend the rank to the Dean of the SOM.
