Columbia University Irving Medical Center Columbia University Irving Medical Center’s Department of Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, seeks an outstanding clinician-educator to join our faculty as an Assistant or Associate Professor of Medicine. We invite applications from board-certified rheumatologists with a clinical and academic interest in osteoporosis management, arthritis, and metabolic bone disease.
Responsibilities: · Provide comprehensive care for patients with osteoporosis, inflammatory arthritis, and related conditions in both ambulatory and infusion settings. · Lead or participate in the development of a dedicated Osteoporosis Clinic within the Division of Rheumatology, in collaboration with Endocrinology and Radiology. ·
Interpret and integrate bone density (DEXA) results into individualized patient care plans. · Contribute to the teaching and mentorship of medical students, residents, and fellows. · Engage in scholarly and quality-improvement initiatives that promote evidence-based fracture prevention and population health.
· Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams across Columbia University Irving Medical Center and NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.
