This is a 9-month tenure-accruing position that will be 70% research (Florida Agricultural Experiment Station) and 30% teaching (College of Agricultural and Life Sciences), available in the Food Science and Human Nutrition Department, Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences, at the

University of Florida. This assignment may change in accordance with the needs of the unit. The candidate is expected to have expertise in human nutrition and metabolism (or related fields), and to develop or continue a strong research program focusing on human health and disease related to nutrition. Teaching will include graduate and undergraduate courses within nutritional sciences. The candidate is expected to

deliver quality instruction in both online and in-person modalities. The faculty member will be expected to participate in undergraduate education and advising, chair graduate committees, serve on other graduate committees, supervise thesis and dissertation research, and supervise undergraduate and postdoctoral research and publish with their graduate students. Tenure will accrue in the Food Science and Human

Nutrition Department. The faculty member will seek contract and grant funding to support their program. The faculty member will support Extension activities in their program area. The successful candidate will engage in scholarly activities related to instruction. Examples of these scholarly activities include: teaching undergraduate and/or graduate courses, advising and mentoring undergraduate and graduate students,
