UUP Job Summary: The Department of Pathology at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University is seeking a full-time Assistant/Associate Professor (HS) / Pathologist, Anatomic Pathology & Hematopathology. The successful candidate will: Provide services in surgical pathology, autopsy, cytology, and hematopathology sign-outs. Serve as a leader in medical student and pathology resident departmental research activities and

oversee the pathology curriculum for first-year medical students. Provide an outstanding education to our medical students and residents, advancing knowledge through research. Required Qualifications: MD or DO Degree. New York State Medical Licensure or eligible. American Board of Pathology Certification in Anatomic Pathology or Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. Preferred Qualifications: Board Certification or

eligible in Hematopathology.
