Health Sciences at Oakland University invites applications for a full-time, tenure-track position at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor in Environmental Health and Safety (EHS). The successful candidate will join a dynamic and multidisciplinary department committed to excellence in teaching, research, and community engagement.We seek a candidate who will initiate and maintain a successful program of

research, scholarship, and service. The ideal candidate will contribute to both undergraduate and graduate instruction in Environmental Health and Safety, support the department’s mission, and actively engage in curriculum development and program growth.Responsibilities include: Developing and sustaining an active ​scholarship agenda in Environmental Health and Safety or a related field Teaching undergraduate and/or

graduate courses in EHS and related topics Engaging in service to the department, college, university, and professional communities Advising and mentoring students Contributing to program development, improvement, and accreditation activities Participating in community engagement initiatives and, where appropriate, program leadership Minimum Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: A doctoral degree (PhD, DrPH, or

equivalent) in Environmental Health, Occupational Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Public Health, or a closely related field by the time of appointment Evidence of teaching effectiveness and scholarly activity appropriate to rank Preferred Qualifications: Attainment of the Certified Safety Professional (CSP) credential or other relevant professional designations (e.g., Certified Industrial Hygienist [CIH], Certified
