of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine at Seattle Children's Hospital has two (2) academic anesthesiologist positions available at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor. These positions are without tenure by reason of funding and are either full-time or part-time with an anticipated start date of March 2026 or thereafter. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align
with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate Professors and Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be
commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. The base salary range for these positions will be Assistant Professor $461,292 - $470,040 annually ($38,441 - $39,170 per month), Associate Professor $517,044 - $525,336 annually ($43,087 - $43,778 per month), or Professor $577,872 - $588, 420 ($48,156 - $49,035 per month), commensurate with experience, qualifications and academic rank , or as mandated
by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Children's University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations. Other compensation associated with this position may
include incentive through the CUMG practice plan. Compensation provided by the CUMG practice plan may provide eligibility for separate benefits offered by that organization.
