Assistant, Associate or Professor WOT - Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine Position Overview School / Campus / College: School of Medicine Organization: Anesthesiology and Pain Medicine Title: Assistant, Associate or Professor WOT - Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine Position Details Position Description The University of Washington Department of Anesthesiology & Pain Medicine has seven academic anesthesiologist positions

available at the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor at two affiliated hospitals: Harborview Medical Center and University of Washington Medical Center. The positions are without tenure, due to funding and are full-time or part-time, with an anticipated start date of July 2025 or thereafter. Duties include the teaching of residents, fellows and medical students and training of the clinical

care team. Successful candidates will provide general anesthesia services. University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and service. Assistant Professors are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate Professors and Professors hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month

service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Salary and academic appointment at University of Washington will be commensurate with experience, qualifications, and academic rank. The base salary range for these positions will be: Assistant Professor $29,532 - $32,126 per month ($354,384 - $385,512 annually),

Associate Professor $33,843 - $35,036 per month ($406,116 - $420,432 annually), and Professor $35,657 - $37,282 ($427,884 - $447,384 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a US Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan, in addition to base salary provided by the University.

Other compensation associated with this position may include incentive through the UWP practice plan.
