Cardiology, Department of Medicine at the University of Washington invites applications for a heart failure cardiologist faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor without tenure due to funding (WOT) to join the Advanced Heart Failure, Cardiac Transplant, and Mechanical Circulatory Support services at the University of Washington Medical Center. The anticipated start date is December 1,

2026. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in research, teaching, and service in a diverse and inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a full-time basis for a twelve-month appointment, 3-year term, renewable if Assistant Professor beginning December 1, 2026. The base salary range for this position will be $16,250-$41,667 per month ($195,000-$500,004

annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. Other compensation associated with this position may include an administrative salary supplement (ADS), and incentive through UW Physicians (UWP) practice plan. The teaching activities of this position will include attending on clinical services with

fellows and mentoring trainees. All University of Washington faculty are expected to engage in teaching, research, and service. Qualifications Applicants for this position must meet the following minimum qualifications: Applicants must have an MD or DO degree (or foreign equivalent) and be board certified/eligible in cardiovascular diseases (or foreign equivalent) and must be eligible for medical licensure in state
