recruiting for one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding, commensurate with experience, to join the department with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2027. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate Professors

WOT and full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The section seeks a cardiothoracic imaging fellowship trained individual who will engage in scholarly work, teaching, and

clinical service. Clinical work includes pulmonary and cardiac imaging. The successful candidate will work with cardiovascular MRI and CT, chest CT and chest radiographs. The Cardiothoracic Imaging section currently has ten faculty members with a range of expertise in pulmonary and cardiac imaging and provides pulmonary, vascular, cardiac CT and MR diagnostic interpretations. The section maintains close relationships

with internal medicine, pulmonology, oncology, bone marrow transplantation, cardiology, and cardiac and thoracic surgery services at all hospital sites; the University of Washington Medical Center Montlake and Northwest campuses, Harborview Medical Center, and Fred Hutch Cancer Center. Cardiothoracic Imaging has an active fellowship program and faculty are responsible for the instruction of cardiothoracic imaging

fellows, in addition to medical students and diagnostic radiology residents. The base salary range for this position at the Assistant Professor rank will be $37,424–$38,173 per month ($449,088–$458,076 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
