(100% FTE) faculty position at the level of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding, commensurate with experience, to join the department with an anticipated start date of July 1, 2026. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Associate Professors WOT and full Professors WOT
hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. The successful candidate will be expected to provide excellent clinical care, including performing and/or interpreting fluoroscopic studies, ultrasound,
CT, and MRI. All faculty members actively participate in multidisciplinary conferences, creating opportunities for academic collaboration and professional development. Teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and fellows is integral to our Section’s mission and is required of all faculty members. Positive factors for consideration include, but are not limited to, prior teaching experience or formal
training in education. All faculty members are also expected to engage in scholarly or creative work. Depending on their research interests and expertise, the candidate may join either the clinician-teacher pathway or the physician-scientist pathway.
