in Seattle is recruiting one full-time (100% FTE) faculty position at the levels, of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor without tenure (WOT) by reason of funding to join the Pediatric Radiology Division based at Seattle Children’s Hospital in Seattle, Washington with an anticipated start date of December 1, 2025. Assistant Professors WOT are eligible for multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service

period (July 1-June 30). Associate and full Professors WOT hold indefinite appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical responsibilities include participation in general pediatric radiology coverage in all

modalities, including computed tomography (CT), diagnostic radiology, magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), and ultrasound. This includes mostly routine daytime hours, along with some off-hours weekday and weekend clinical coverage. This position is expected to perform pediatric cardiac imaging. Those with an interest in developing these skills are encouraged to apply. Additional responsibilities include teaching and

supervision of medical students, residents, and fellows, contribution to weekly interdepartmental clinical conferences, quality assurance and continuous process improvement, engagement in academic and research activities, and assigned administrative duties. All UW faculty engage in teaching, research, and service. Seattle Children’s is a 407 bed medical regional center; over 136,000 pediatric imaging examinations per

year are performed across all modalities within the Hospital and associated outpatient clinics. Successful applicants will join our 3 current full time pediatric interventional radiologists, 2 advanced practice providers and 22 pediatric diagnostic radiology faculty members, participating in the ongoing education of 4-5 fellows and 6-9 residents.
