University of Washington, invites applications for a Clinical Practice faculty position at the rank of of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or full Professor of Clinical Practice. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34. We seek applicants who demonstrate commitment to excellence in teaching and service in a diverse and
inclusive academic community. The successful candidate will join our faculty on a twelve-month full-time basis for a term of 3 years beginning in July 2026. The initial appointment period will be 3 years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service
periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure. The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professor of Clinical Practice range: $12,079 - $18,119 per month ($144,948 - $217,428 annually), Associate Professor of Clinical Practice range:
$18,246 - $21,896 per month ($218,962 - $262,754 annually), Professor of Clinical Practice range: $17,844 - $26,766 per month ($214,128 - $321,192 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination. This range is inclusive of base salary provided through the Children’s University Medical Group (CUMG) practice plan, in addition to base
salary provided by the University. Please note that only compensation provided by the University is included in University benefit determinations and calculations.
