Department of Pediatrics, Division of Endocrinology is currently recruiting for one full-time faculty member at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or full Professor on the Clinical Practice Track. Specific rank will be commensurate with experience and qualifications as generally described in UW’s Faculty Code Section 24-34. Anticipated start date is Summer 2026. The mission of the Division of Endocrinology: The
Seattle Children’s Endocrine and Diabetes Program, by providing compassionate, innovative, evidence-based and equitable care, will be the clinical center of choice for children and adolescents with endocrine conditions or diabetes in the Puget Sound and WWAMI Region. The Program will harness new technologies, foster collaborative investigation, and conduct expansive educational programs to advance the understanding
and treatment of hormonal disorders. The Division will be nationally and internationally recognized for clinical care, teaching, and research in pediatric endocrinology. In addition to clinical work, teaching, scholarship, and service are integral to all Clinical Practice positions. The initial appointment period will be three years, at a minimum, with eligibility for renewal thereafter. Faculty on the clinical
practice track hold multi-year appointments that align with a 12-month service period (July 1-June 30). Faculty with 12-month service periods are paid for 11 months of service over a 12-month period (July-June), meaning the equivalent of one month is available for paid time off. Clinical Practice track appointments are not eligible for tenure. All University of Washington faculty engage in teaching, research and
service. The base salary range for this position will be: Assistant Professors $12,084 - $18,125 per month ($145,008 - $217,500 annually), Associate Professors $13,872 - $20,807 per month ($166,464 - $249,684), Full Professors $17,647 - $26,471 per month ($211,764 - $317,652 annually), commensurate with experience and qualifications, or as mandated by a U.S. Department of Labor prevailing wage determination.
