(biology.iu.edu) at Indiana University Indianapolis (formerly IUPUI) invites applications for a tenure track faculty position at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Full Professor to begin January 1, 2026. Competitive salary and start-up funds are available. We invite applicants with a dynamic research program in Hydrocephalus, ideally with large animal experience and an interest in drug development. The successful

candidate will join a vibrant academic community and contribute to our nationally recognized Hydrocephalus Research Center. The Center is composed of many investigators from IU Indianapolis and around the world that are working together to understand and treat all forms of hydrocephalus. The faculty are expected to mentor students and teach at both undergraduate and graduate levels. Candidates with expertise in

neuroscience, physiology, or biochemistry are especially encouraged to apply.The Department of Biology is home to 24 full-time faculty, more than 700 undergraduate majors, and over 50 graduate students in Ph.D. and M.S. programs.
