Position description The Department of Internal Medicine, Division of Rheumatology, Allergy & Clinical Immunology at the University of

California, Davis, School of Medicine is recruiting for one full-time faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor rank in Rheumatology. This position is primarily outpatient based, with some inpatient consult responsibilities. Faculty in the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series are expected to engage in teaching, professional competence, and activity,

scholarly or creative activities and University/public service. The successful candidate will have a strong record of clinical care in the management of soft tissue rheumatism as well as autoimmune diseases, to provide excellent clinical care. A strong background or clinical training in immunology is highly desirable. Applicants should be skilled in the use of biological therapy and the ACR Guidelines for their usage

as well as an understanding of potential drug interactions. Successful candidates will see patients in both the inpatient and outpatient setting and interact with the University Residency and Fellowship program. Experience in or the ability to teach and supervise medical students, residents and fellows is required. The ability to work cooperatively and collegially within a diverse environment is required.
