Position overview Position title: Colorectal Surgery Faculty Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $300,000 - $375,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation

The Division is seeking to recruit academic colon and rectal surgeons who are committed to excellence in clinical care, education, and scholarly activity. Selected candidates will provide comprehensive clinical care, teach and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows, and develop a research portfolio that aligns with divisional and institutional

priorities. These positions require flexibility to practice across UC San Diego Health clinical sites and to participate in call coverage in accordance with divisional and departmental responsibilities. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
