Position overview Position title: Pediatrics Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and, if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $110,000 - $350,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Position description The Department of Pediatrics at the University of California, San Diego (UCSD) is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body. The Department is seeking applicants for positions across our varied Divisions and centers of excellence. The successful candidates will: • Lead or participate in high-quality teaching

and training for students, residents, and fellows • Conduct impactful research, with opportunities to develop independent projects and pursue interdisciplinary work • Serve as a mentor to trainees and junior faculty, supporting their academic and professional development • Contribute to departmental and institutional service efforts, including committee participation and program development • Provide clinical care
