Position description Faculty Positions in the Division of Rheumatology, Autoimmunity, & Inflammation: The Department of Medicine at the University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting faculty to join the Division. candidates will be responsible for participating in scholarly activity and teaching medical and graduate students. Selected candidates will also be responsible for providing service to the University and academic community at a level commensurate with their career stage and contributing to the maintenance of a collegial and collaborative academic environment. Clinician candidates (MD or equivalent) are expected to
maintain professional competence by attending weekly outpatient adult clinics and participating in inpatient and outpatient consult services.
