Position overview Position title: Anesthesiology Faculty Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $100,000 - $400,000. Salary is negotiated annually. For clinicians, total compensation including incentives is in the range of $500,000-$700,000, dependent on

productivity. Position description The Department of Anesthesiology at the University of California, San Diego, is committed to academic excellence amoung its faculty, staff, and student body, and is seeking general anesthesiologist faculty. The Department of Anesthesiology emphasizes postgraduate education in anesthesiology and offers opportunities to develop

clinical and research skills in all areas of anesthesiology, critical care, and pain medicine. Selected candidates will be responsible for providing high-quality training and teaching, delivering clinical care, and/or conducting research. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience. A link to full descriptions
