The base pay range for this position is $205,000 - $285,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the

The Division of Genetics in the Department of Pediatrics at UC San Diego and Rady Children's Hospital -San Diego is currently seeking to expand

the Medical Genetics and Biochemical Genetics team. We are seeking applications from physicians or physician-scientists to fill the following positions: • Clinical Geneticist • Metabolic Geneticist • Clinical Director The Division is actively involved in clinical care, research, teaching, and service. Our program sees more than 4,000 patients per year in a variety of clinics, which are primarily outpatient at Rady

Children's Hospital‐San Diego, a top ten US News & World Report-ranked Children's Hospital. We also see patients at the UCSD Medical Center, throughout Southern California, and in Mexico. Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to, patient care, inpatient consults, outpatient genetic clinics, and multidisciplinary team settings, the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, and continued

scholarly contributions to clinical, translational, developmental, and/or basic research. In addition, the successful candidate for the Clinical Director position will provide clinical leadership, which includes oversight of divisional budgets, quality improvement activities, and direction for members of the Division. Clinical activities could reflect the candidate's specific interest as well as the general genetics
