Position overview Position title: Urologic Oncology Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $250, 000 - $500,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. You

Position description The University of California, San Diego (UCSD) School of Medicine, Department of Urology is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body. We are seeking faculty members with expertise in urologic oncology to join a large, collaborative, multidisciplinary program. The successful candidates will manage patient populations from a

broad referral base and will provide clinical care at multiple sites, including VAHCS San Diego. Clinical responsibilities will include the diagnosis and management of genitourinary malignancies, including prostate, bladder, kidney, and testicular cancers, utilizing open, minimally invasive, and robotic surgical approaches. The successful candidates will work closely with medical oncology, radiation oncology, and

other specialties to deliver comprehensive, team-based cancer care. The successful candidates will also participate in the teaching of medical students, residents, and fellows, and engage in scholarly activity aligned with the advancement of urologic oncology. This position offers a dynamic academic environment with opportunities for clinical program development and leadership within a high-impact area of specialty

care. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
