Position overview Position title: Pulmonary Medicine Salary range: The posted UC Salary scales set the minimum pay at the appointment as determined by appointment type and, if applicable, rank and/or step. The base pay range for this position is $82,200 - $350,000. Salary is negotiated annually. Additional compensation may be available if the position includes membership in the Health Sciences Compensation Plan. UC

Position description The Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care, Sleep Medicine, and Physiology in the Department of Medicine at University of California, San Diego is committed to academic excellence within the faculty, staff, and student body and is actively recruiting for academic and research physicians at the Assistant, Associate, and Full Professor ranks. Our

physician support and dedication to teaching, research and clinical excellence has created multiple faculty and contractual staff positions available to support UC San Diego Health locations: UCSD Hillcrest and La Jolla, CA hospitals, as well as, our affiliated hospitals throughout San Diego, Riverside and Imperial Counties. The successful candidates will be responsible for participating in the clinical care of

patients, providing high-quality training and teaching, and/or research related to one or more of the division-related academic interests. The appropriate series and appointment at the Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor level will be based on the candidate’s background and experience.
