Position description The University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Dentistry, Preventive and Restorative Dental Sciences, invites applications for a full-time Health Sciences Clinical (HS Clinical) faculty position in the Faculty Practice. Position Overview The selected candidate will join the Faculty Practice and provide high-quality patient care while

contributing to the education and supervision of residents. This role emphasizes clinical excellence, learner engagement, and service to the school and profession. The incumbent will be expected to work a minimum of two Saturdays per month, with clinic hours that may begin as early as 7:00 a.m. and extend until 6:00 p.m. Key Responsibilities: Clinical Care 90% Provide comprehensive, evidence-based dental care in the

UCSF Faculty Practice Maintain high standards of patient safety, quality, and professionalism Participate in interdisciplinary and collaborative care models Maintain licensure, credentialing, and training compliance Teaching and Service 10% Supervise and teach dental residents in clinical settings Provide formative feedback and evaluate learner performance Participate in didactic instruction, seminars, or case-based

teaching as appropriate Engage in departmental, school, and university service activities Participate in quality improvement and accreditation Contribute to the advancement of clinical practice and education Qualifications: Required DDS or DMD degree (or equivalent) Eligibility for DDS licensure in the State of California Demonstrated excellence in clinical dentistry Strong commitment to teaching and mentoring
