Position description The UCLA Department of Radiation Oncology is recruiting a highly motivated individual for a medical physicist faculty position as an Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor, rank commensurate on experience. This

appointment is under the Health Sciences Clinical Professor series. Primary responsibilities include providing high-quality clinical physics support across all areas of radiation oncology practice, including treatment planning, IMRT, IGRT, machine commissioning and quality assurance, brachytherapy, and related clinical physics duties. The candidate will also participate in the teaching and supervision of medical

physics residents in the CAMPEP-accredited UCLA Radiation Oncology Therapeutic Medical Physics Residency Program, as well as graduate students in the UCLA Physics and Biology in Medicine Ph.D. Program. Candidates with exceptional clinical expertise and a strong commitment to patient care are especially encouraged to apply. ABR or ABMP or have graduated from a CAMPEP-accredited therapy physics residency program by the time of hire.
